Life Teen resumes tonight!

The new year of Life Teen starts tonight at 7:30pm, join us for an "Office Olympics" challenge, followed by a session on prayer and coping with stress. See you tonight!

Life Teen will resume September 8th

Hi everyone, I would like to take two weeks off from Life Teen based on your feedback. This Wednesday there are many conflicts, and the week after that is the first day of school, so I would like to resume the second week of school on Wednesday September 8th. I hope you all had a good summer, based on the facebook photos it is safe to say you did. :)

Here are two exciting upcoming events to think about.

Saturday October 2nd
St. John Bosco Youth Day 2010
This is a day-long rally that I recommend. Our new Bishop will be there, as well as Father Stan Fortuna (he raps!) and Martin Doman, two musicians. Here is a link to the flyer. http://www.menofchrist.net/files/10/StBosco.pdf

November 12th-14th
Immersion Retreat in the Wisconsin Dells (Chula Vista)
This is the most successful youth event the Diocese does, please come! This includes time in the indoor water park.
We can work on fundraising, but I need to know if you want to go first, so mark your calendars!

Thanks everyone, and God Bless.
-Dave

Life Teen 7/14

Please join us tomorrow night as we talk about St. Maria Goretti and purity. Just a reminder, we meet in the youth room (3rd floor) of the former Sacred Heart School, next to Sacred Heart Parish. We meet from 7:30 to 8:30pm. We are always looking for new members, 9th grade through 12th grade. No sign up, registration, or payment is needed, just show up. Disc golf went well last week, good times. :)

Last Minute Disc Golf Game

We will be playing Disc Golf at the Hefco pool park at 7:30pm tonight. I will bring ice cream and sodas, see you there!

Congrats to Mike and Timmy!

Congratulations to Mike and Timmy, our two seniors!
