Alternate Plans for 9th Grade Religious Education Party

Hi everyone, this is David Alcott, the 9th grade religious education teacher for Sacred Heart/Corpus Christi.  I received some feedback last week that some of you would like to celebrate the end of the year without going to the roller rink with the other grades.

I think that is a good idea, but I will need some feedback and some help planning it.  I spoke with Deacon Ray about it, and he said he would be fine with providing food for the party, but said bowling is not an option.  A few options would be going to WildWood park and doing a cookout, and maybe Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, or Capture the Flag.  I would be happy to cook on one of the grills there, maybe bratwurst and burgers.  If we did that we could also invite familes, and ask everyone to bring a dish to pass.  Let me know if this sounds good, based on the feedback to this email, I'll decide what to do.  This would be on the same night as the roller skating party, Wednesday, April 30th.

         God bless,
              David Alcott
