This event will be partially sponsored by LifeTeen, so your ticket cost will be $5. I will be buying the tickets all at one time, so please RSVP, bring $5 cash, and be in the lobby by 7pm so we can get in and get good seats!. See you there!

Narnia Marathon! (**UPDATED**)

Hello everyone, hope you are having a wonderful Advent.

Thanks for your patience, we are rescheduling again. :)

OK, this Sunday the Marathon of the first two Narnia films will start at 4:30p.m. and go until about 9:45pm. This will be in the youth room at Sacred Heart School. All teens and their families are welcome, these movies are both rated PG. We will take a little time after each film to briefly talk about the Christian symbolism in the books that the films were based on. This is a free event, please let me know if you can join us so that I can plan. We will have pizza in between the films and snacks and drinks available. If someone would like to bring cookies or bars, that would be excellent. :)


On Thursday, December 16th we are planning on attending the third Narnia film, voyage of the Dawn Treader. There is a 5pm and a 7:15pm showing at Rogers Cinema in Marshfield. Please let me know your preference. The movie is just under two hours long.

Movie Night! - "The 13th Day"

To celebrate the "day the sun danced", we will be watching the powerful movie, "The 13th Day" during youth group tonight, October 13th at 7:30 pm in the Life Teen Youth Room at Sacred Heart. Check out a trailer to the movie here: http://www.the13thday.com/the-film/trailers/

The movie is 85 minutes, so you might want to let your parents know youth group will end closer to 9 pm instead of 8:30 pm.

Life Teen resumes tonight!

The new year of Life Teen starts tonight at 7:30pm, join us for an "Office Olympics" challenge, followed by a session on prayer and coping with stress. See you tonight!

Life Teen will resume September 8th

Hi everyone, I would like to take two weeks off from Life Teen based on your feedback. This Wednesday there are many conflicts, and the week after that is the first day of school, so I would like to resume the second week of school on Wednesday September 8th. I hope you all had a good summer, based on the facebook photos it is safe to say you did. :)

Here are two exciting upcoming events to think about.

Saturday October 2nd
St. John Bosco Youth Day 2010

November 12th-14th
Immersion Retreat in the Wisconsin Dells (Chula Vista)
This is the most successful youth event the Diocese does, please come! This includes time in the indoor water park.
We can work on fundraising, but I need to know if you want to go first, so mark your calendars!

Life Teen youth group is canceled Wednesday 7/21, but will resume Wednesday 7/28. I will be attending the St. John Bosco Conference at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. See you next week!

Life Teen 7/14

Please join us tomorrow night as we talk about St. Maria Goretti and purity. Just a reminder, we meet in the youth room (3rd floor) of the former Sacred Heart School, next to Sacred Heart Parish. We meet from 7:30 to 8:30pm. We are always looking for new members, 9th grade through 12th grade. No sign up, registration, or payment is needed, just show up. Disc golf went well last week, good times. :)
