Re: "God's Not Dead" film is an alternative option for 9th grade Religious Education this Wednesday

Just a reminder, please respond directly to this email address (mandy@catholicpostage.com), do not send an email to dave@catholipostage.com, as that one is not working right now.  Please let me know by tonight if you would like to attend the movie. You could also call instead of emailing
   Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Thank you all for such good behavior on the trip to La Crosse today, we really visited some special places.

On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, Sacred Heart and Corpus Christi is offering two options for the for the Ninth Graders of the Religious Education Program.  There will be a regular class led by David Alcott at the regular time and place, from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.  There will also be time set aside for Reconciliation/Confessions during the regular class, so if you have not been to confession in a while, please attend the regular class, or attend confession at a regularly scheduled time in the bulletin.  It is a great Sacrament, and especially appropriate during Lent.

The other option is to go to Roger’s Cinema and watch the movie “God’s Not Dead”. For the student enrolled in the 9th grade, the Life Teen program will cover the $8.50 charge for the movie, a small soda and a small bag of popcorn. The cost of additional snacks or beverages will be at the expense of the attendee. This Number One Christian movie (which on its opening weekend earned third place at the box office) is an awesome family film about Christianity in today’s world, and lasts about two hours. We are encouraging the student’s parents/guardians to attend this family event.   For additional family members the $8.50 deal is available but it will be at their expense.

The tickets have to be preordered and that order must be received by Roger’s Cinema no later than 10:00 AM on Monday, March 31, 2014.  The order will be placed for all attendees (parents/guardian and children).  In order to have everything together, you must respond to this email by Sunday night on 3/30/14 if you would like to attend the movie.  Please send the names of who is attending.

If you are sending your child to the movie, please have the child to Roger’s Cinema no later than 5:40 PM on Wednesday April 2nd to obtain decent seating.  If anyone else other than the student are attending, please bring $8.50 in cash to make the transaction easy for each person. We will be meeting in the Lobby of Roger’s Cinema where the tickets will be handed out at 5:40 PM and then we enter the theater as a group.  Mrs. Fernandez will be the chaperone, so please find her in the lobby. The movie will be over around 8:10, so the students can be picked up then.  Enjoy the Movie!
