Life Teen is cancelled tomorrow, on Halloween

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't let you know sooner, but Life Teen is
cancelled tomorrow on Halloween. We typically follow the Religious
Education schedule. However you are encouraged to attend Mass on November
1st, All Saints Day, which is a Holy Day of Obligation. At Sacred Heart
the Mass will be at 6pm on Thursday, and at Corpus Christi it will be at
7pm. We will resume Life Teen next week, on November 7th. Thanks Patrick
for the email, Mandy will just call Sierra to let her know then.

Life Teen: Volunteer for the live nativity at Rotary Winter Wonderland

Hello,
Deacon Ray asked me to check with you wonderful young people to see if
you could participate in the Live Nativity at Rotary Winter Wonderland.
It would be the 7-9pm slot on Sunday 11/25/12. I would really
appreciate your help, and this would be good for service hours, and
REAP points as well.

Life Teen: Oktoberfest this Sunday, Immersion, March for Life

Hi everyone!
This Sunday is Oktoberfest. I have Michele, Patrick, and Sierra down
to help with the kids games, please meet at the Knights of Columbus hall
at Noon this Sunday to help.
The Immersion retreat is coming up fast, on November 10th and 11th.

I have sent out individual emails about costs and REAP points, please
return paperwork and payment at your earliest convenience.

In January next year (2013) there will be a trip to the March for
Life in Washington D.C. It will be January 23rd through 27th

This is a trip Pattie Pflugradt has taken and she highly recommends it.
Students would take part in the yearly March for life, as well as do
sightseeing in Washington D.C. The students would need to take 2 and
1/2 days off of school since they leave Wednesday. There is a
possibility that some members in the parish may sponsor youth to go, so
please let me know if you would like to go, and we'll go from there.

When: Leave About Noon on Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Return Sunday, January 27, 2013 to Wisconsin

Details of pickup points will be available upon receipt of your
registration form.


Who: Anyone 13 years old to Adult.

(Please know that we do a great deal of walking and ride a
charter bus overnight to and from D.C.)

Where: This is an opportunity to be a witness in Washington, D.C. to the
dignity of life for the unborn, elderly, and those who society regards as
useless.



Cost: $320.00 per person

OR

$280 for chaperones - A chaperone is someone 23 years and
older, and responsible for minors



*DEDUCT $25 if you already have a red Dioceses of Wisconsin
Pro-life sweatshirt.*



*The cost includes 5 day trip by motor coach, 2 nights at Hotel, & more!

Life Teen Update

Hi everyone!,
Just a reminder, we will meet tomorrow night at 6:15pm. Also, we will
help with the Saint Vincent De Paul meal on January 2nd, as the other
times they already have enough volunteers. Finally, starting this
weekend there will be a fundraiser for REAP/Life Teen after all Masses.
We will be selling Mystic Monk coffee (ground or whole bean coffee in
12oz bags) and Outdoor silhouette Nativity Sets. I would appreciate
your help if you can assist after Mass. To support REAP we need to
raise $2,000 every year, so that is our goal.
