Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 10am to 8pm

This amazing day is open to students entering 7th - 12th grade. A day to relax, have fun, and discover the closeness of God.  Enjoy kayaking, live music, games, and ultimate frisbee. The goal of this retreat is to answer the question "What is in your heart?", and will focus on learning what it means to give God your heart.

This is a free retreat hosted by Sacred Heart and Corpus Christi Youth Ministry in collaboration with the Youth Ministers of the Marshfield Catholic Deanery.  Complete registration is required, and space is limited to 20 participants. Register Online at sacredheartmarshfield.org

Confirmation Students Service Hours Opportunity - Sacred Heart 100 Years Celebration August 5-7

Hello Confirmation Students and Teens!

We will be having a picnic and dinner to celebrate Sacred Heart's 100 years as a parish and will need help with the kids' games, bouncy house, serving at the meal, etc.  This is a great opportunity for service hours if you still need them, and even if you don't need service hours, it is a great way to serve our Catholic community!

The picnic with games, etc. is on Saturday, August 6th and the chicken dinner is on August 7th.  Below is a line-up of events.  Please sign up to help by replying to this e-mail or call 715-387-1317.  Thanks!!

SATURDAY, August 6th:  PARISH PICNIC: 12 Noon until Dusk - Food, Refreshments, Music by "Sound-A- Motion", Children's Games & BINGO for All
                                            4 PM -  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
                                            4:45 PM -  Benediction
                                            5 PM - Celebration of the Holy Mass with the Reverend Monsignor Michael Gorman, V.G.
                                           *Parish Picnic will continue until Dusk

SUNDAY, August 7th:  9 AM - Centennial Mass with His Excellency, the Most Reverend William Callahan, Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse
                                       *Time for Fellowship after Mass

Theology of the Body Teaching Year Complete

We just wrapped up a great year teaching Theology of the Body to the 9th and 10th grade Confirmation Class.  I really appreciated learning about the Theology of the Body in college at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share it with the energetic young people of Corpus Christi and Sacred Heart. The EXTREME March Event: Holy Week=Holy Service scheduled for March 23rd has been CANCELED due to "too many volunteers" signed up for the fellowship meal - a good problem for St. Vincent de Paul to have!  Keep watch for information coming soon about the EXTREME April Event.

The EXTREME EEN event for February is a  MOVIE NIGHT!

This Sun., Feb. 21.  Open to all teens. 

Hosted by St. John's in the Columbia Room on the BIG screen.  It's a collaborative multi-parish event.  Bring your friends, get ready for a great time.  We will choose a movie using the playoff method so you'll be watching the most popular movie – guaranteed!!
